HOOPS DOWN UNDER MEET FOR CRUCIAL BLACKBURN CLASH!

Our mighty & very loyal QPR international supporters group - the Hoops Down Under - will be meeting up again around Australia when our beloved Rs travel to Blackburn for a Top 6 Table League clash on Saturday February 26th 2022.

Gatherings have been planned for QPR fans living in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth & Sydney at various well known HDU venues in each state.

Brisbane fans will be meeting at the Pig n Whistle starting at 8pm (10:30pm kickoff), Sydney fans will meet at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel starting at 10pm (kickoff at 11:30pm) and Perth fans will be meeting at the Mustang Bar in Northbridge starting at 7:30pm (kickoff at 8:30pm). This will also be the first time Melbourne fans have been able to meet since January 2020 (QPR v Leeds) before the pandemic heavily hit the State and faced with continuous lockdowns over the next two years.

Melbourne's Holy Grail of all Sport Bar venues, the Turf Bar (home of that infamous 2014 Playoff final) have endured a lot in the hospitality industry due to the lockdowns and because customer numbers are currently lower than normal, the bar has been forced to shut at 10pm on weekends since finally reopening their doors.

However, they have kindly offered to support us & stay open to host our event.
